Melissa has always had a love for animals growing up she had the pleasure of having two amazing dogs Sarah and Cinnamon. Melissa always said Sarah  was her first best friend. Cinnamon came into her life 2 years after Sarah had passed and quickly stole her heart.   Melissa is now married with with two cats Makita and Graice. Melissa is named after the Allman Brothers song Melissa so it was only fitting to name the company Sweet Melissa's.  As a tribute and homage to her late mother who loved and cared for pets Just as much as Melissa does. Her 30 plus years of experience taking care of not only her own pets but also the pets of friends and family helps make her great at what she does.
